Avenue® T is an innovative posterior lumbar cage because integrating our VerteBRIDGE® anchoring technology.

Our cage design and anchoring plate insertion directly through the axis of the disc in one single step, combined to our polyvalent instrumentation allow for a mini-invasive PLIF or TLIF approach.

Philosophy

Our cage design and self-guided, in‐line delivery of the VerteBRIDGE® anchoring plate combined with our polyvalent instrumentation allow for a minimally invasive PLIF or TLIF approach.

  • Anterior column fixation thanks to our anchoring technology VerteBRIDGE® opens new perspective regarding less invasive posterior fixation use (interspinous fusion system, facet screws…). The objective being to create a 360° fusion restoring sagittal balance while reducing operative time and allowing a faster recovery for the patient.
  • Our instrumentation, optimized and ergonomic, allows the safe insertion of the cage and anchoring plate deployment in one single step to reduce operative time.
 
 

Cage

PEEK-OPTIMA® Cage

  • Biocompatible material with modulus of elasticity close to bone. Radiolucency allows for visual monitoring of fusion postoperatively.

Bullet tip

  • Enables self‐distraction of the interbody space and facilitates its insertion while respecting vertebral endplates.

 

Retaining teeth

  • Superior and inferior teethed surface ensuring optimized primary stability.

2 Locking pins

  • Half-anchoring plates are secured to the implant thanks to the integrated, self-locking mechanism.

Easy removal of the anchoring plates thanks to dedicated instruments.

3 Titanium markers

  • Intraoperative and postoperative positioning assessment.
 

VerteBRIDGE® Plating Technology

Beveled and curved design

  • Allows easy penetration of the half-anchoring plates directly into the axis of the disc space in one single step in order to stabilize the vertebral segment.

Zero‐profile anchoring plate

  • A bridge is created by the insertion of two half-anchoring plates into superior and inferior vertebraes. The lumbar segment is stabilized and nervous structure are protected thanks to the zero‐profile design.

 

L Shape

  • Half-anchoring plates have a maximized contact area in the frontal and sagittal plane optimizing bone anchorage.

Single‐use holder

  • Half-anchoring plates pre‐assembled on single use PEEK CLASSIX® holders resulting in no direct manipulation of the implants.
 

 

Range

  • The wide range of cage sizes (lengths, heights and lordotic angles) and half-anchoring plates lengths (S, M, L), allow varying anatomies adaptation and ease multi‐level surgeries or hybrid constructs.
